Smart Monkey wins competitive pitch for global worker safety and sustainability provider, EcoOnline
Smart Monkey has become the retained SEO agency for EcoOnline, a leading technology provider for EHS (Environment, Health and Safety), ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), and Chemical Safety.
The Sussex-based B2B digital marketing agency won the SEO account following a competitive pitch process, and will provide technical SEO and content services for the business.
Beth Nash, Smart Monkey founder, said, “EcoOnline is a well-respected name in the worker safety space, operating in 90 industries and working with more than 10,000 clients all over the globe. We’re excited to begin this journey with EcoOnline as it looks to further dominate the industry and help protect people and the planet.”
While the EcoOnline account is new, this is somewhat of a continuation of their work. The digital marketing agency has been working with one of EcoOnline’s acquisitions – StaySafe – for many years, delivering technical SEO, content marketing, PPC and digital PR for the client over a 7-year period.
Beth, added, “StaySafe first became a client of ours in 2017, and we’ve worked with them on a number of projects, helping to deliver organic reach, paid ads and earned media. So to have won the SEO pitch for EcoOnline is a testament to our team’s hard work and the incredible relationship we have with the team already. We can’t wait to get stuck in and work with the wider EcoOnline team.”
Smart Monkey will work with the web and SEO team at EcoOnline during an exciting period for the EcoOnline website, supporting EcoOnline’s wider business goals with SEO.
Smart Monkey is a specialist B2B digital marketing agency, focussing on delivering measurable results that impact the bottom line and deliver ROI. With expertise in SEO, digital PR and PPC for professional services, b2b, tech, SaaS, and local SEO, each member of the Smart Monkey team is an expert in their field, having a minimum of 3 years’ experience under their belt. This means clients are always serviced by senior team members.
Speaking about the pitching process, Helen Down, head of web marketing at EcoOnline, said, “Over the last seven years, Smart Monkey has always felt like additional team members, rather than an external partner. As someone who has worked with a couple of different agencies over the years, I knew exactly what I wanted out of an agency and Smart Monkey delivered just that, taking the time to understand what we do, why we do it, and how we do it.
“So much so, that when we were acquired and became part of EcoOnline, it was a natural reflex to ask them to pitch for the work. They presented a well-thought out pitch that didn’t just focus on the work recommendations, but it went into detail about how they would work with us, and this really set them apart. I’m excited to be continuing to build on the incredible relationship we have and working with the team to drive forward our ambitious goals. Here’s to the next seven years!”
Smart Monkey’s work with EcoOnline has already started, and they look forward to continuing the partnership and driving forward EcoOnline’s mission to become the voice of workplace safety and sustainability across the globe.
