GW Shelter Solutions designs, supplies, installs, and maintains bus shelters and associated products for councils, contractors, and traffic planners.

The Challenge

We started working with GW Shelter Solutions to help them turn their existing website into a lead driver for them. They had good foundations, being well-known in the sector, but needed help to increase their visibility in the SERPs.

As a niche industry, being laser-focused on search intent was key. And while they had some content on the site already, it was a case of making existing content work harder, and make sure it was tapping into relevant search terms.

Created blog content to target high-priority searchers during their research phases. Topics included; requirements for bus shelters and a buyer’s guide to bus shelters

Created new landing pages to service top-level queries, such as an overview of bus shelters and the different types of shelters available

Improved user experience by implementing things such as a Thank You page after an enquiry is sent

Created a case studies page to highlight the trust in the company and full breadth of services offered

Made changes to existing pages to target specific intent keywords, minimised keyword cannibalisation, and improved services and product pages, to include images and be more concise to help them rank higher
